Ukrainian: Marina's Cabbage Salad

Ingredients:

Procedure:

  1. Shred the cabbage using a mandoline or just cut very thinly
  2. Add salt and sugar and press the cabbage using both hands.
  3. Transfer cabbage to mixing bowl
  4. Add vinegar, carrots, cilantro, olive oil; mix thoroughly
  5. Adjust seasoning: add more salt (if desired)
